Not exactly a giveaway, but a 23.6% discount. Facebook + Hudson Yards in 2020 According to a recent item in AM New York , social media tech giant Facebook has inked a lease for a cool 1.5 million square feet of offi ce space spread across 30 fl oors of three buildings at the massive Hudson Yards development on Manhattan’s West Side. Mark Zuckerberg’s empire already occupies corporate offi ces on Broadway near Astor Place, soon to be joined by 1.2 million square feet in 50 Hudson Yards, 265,000 square feet in 30 Hudson Yards, and about 57,000 square feet in 55 Hud- son Yards, according to AM New York. “Th is is an extraordinary commitment to New York City and Hudson Yards,” said Jeff T. Blau, CEO of Related Compa- nies, a developer of the complex. “Hud- son Yards continues to be a magnet for talent, attracting the greatest companies across every sector of the economy.
